Despite its simplicity, the gameplay is addictive because of the never-ending nature of the game. The graphics aren't bad. I wouldn't say this game stands out as an amazing game... but I'd say it's definitely a keeper.

I have to admit, this an incredibly unique game. The premise of setting "levels" at the various switches in a song is... quite simply very cool. I can't say much for the graphics of the game, I would have kept playing until completion but I simply could not keep looking at it, it was going to give me a migraine. Some of those lighter objects (background targets included) were blurring my vision like there was no tomorrow. The fact that the asterisks not only move in conjunction with the music but also follow the mouse icon (a lightbulb? why a lightbulb?) is very impressive. Once again the lighter asterisks are the bane though, they make it VERY difficult to progress. Also the shape surrounding the asterisks that cause the game to stop seem a touch unfair (boxes are not conforming to the shape of an asterisk. Sound quality was very good, but I must say that you should ensure to credit Daft Punk for the music AND the title, although I didn't get the chance to play through to the end. Overall I'd say it was your ingenuity rather than the graphics that make your game quite excellent.

It seemed as though you needed a replacement for some of the poor reviews you received. The graphics were good, nice and smooth and very crisp, the animation itself was a little jerky for me personally though. I thought it was going to be a little bit more of actual "re-enactments" of in game experiences, but I was pleased to see you taking Halo into your imagination (so 10 for style). I liked your choice of music and the sound effects were humorous. Also the voice recordings had very good quality (but not perfect). Not much violence, decent menu. I enjoyed your sense of humor (tell me, did you get the idea for the sound in between "scenes" from something called "The Demented Cartoon Movie?"). Overall good stuff, well worthy of front page! Keep it coming.

It's rare to see someone take a stand and give their opinion in such a talented way. Excellent choice of music and visual cues.

Well I'd say that the translation from script to movie went VERY well. I'll be working on the next script asap.
Author's Response:
Thank you Atomicus, It was an excellent script you wrote and i'm only sorry that some cuts had to be made. I'm sure NGAN 2 will be even better that the original.
Thanks for the review!

I'm impressed by the level of vision you have in this. I personally think you could get more out of making it longer... but the drawing was excellent, and I think your musical selection was great for the message. Keep it up.

Than you! In the future, I'll try not to cut my movies too short. One movie that I've been doing concept work on for almost 2 years will be of good length once I feel comfortable enough with my flash work to make it (I'm too protective of it to give it to another animator).
Thanks for reviewing.

I've never seen anything quite like this on NG, I've seen attempts made, but the quality of the sound, drawings, and animation blows those attempts away. I could've sworn I was watching a Saturday morning cartoon. Excellent! Bring the next installment soon!

You're work is great! The drawings are awesome and the animation is smooth. I think you could try to fix the sound a little bit though, it was loud to me. But maybe I'm just sensitive about it since my ears are big and pick up sound better. :-P
You're going to continue this one? It should be great and I can't wait to see it. I actually have an audio clip of a prank call where a furby kills a guy. If you're interested you can find me in Female Animators Appreciation Club. Keep up the great work!
Author's Response:
That prank call sounds interesting. I might want to use that in another episode of Furby Attacks. I'll get started on the next episode pretty soon I think. Thanks Atomicus.

Kind of like a potato! ^_^
Anyway, your graphics were awesome and the animation was wonderfully smooth. The sound had good quality, but you might want to try and fix the volume, it seemed loud to me. Plenty of blood and gore for violence. I liked that you gave ending choices, that was great! Your humor... well the idea of giving a potato just says it all. 10. Great job! Keep 'em coming, and maybe if you want you can join the Female Animators Appreciation Club, cause I'm sure there are quite a few gals out there who would be inspired by your work!

Very good job with getting the story out, so I gave a 10 for style. The graphics were quite good, but I think a little more time could have been spent on making individual locks... but I understand that characters take time to create. I gave a 6 for sound only because "Duel of the Fates" was quite overbearing to what was being said. Violence was there but wasn't excessive. I think interactivity and humor speak for themselves. Good job, maybe next time for the animation try to draw different perspectives on the characters so you don't get that "flip effect" where you have a paper thin character... other than that great job!
Author's Response:
actually i wanted the paper thin effect but it didnt turn out quite how i wanted, i didnt want their keys to un hook then re-hook again, i played with it a bit to try and get it how i wanted, then gave up because it looked fine. and i did lower the music for the text to be heard better, it sounds clear on my computer, any other people have trouble hearing the voices?
